Rev. Lady Mills was born and raised in Rochester, New York and grew up in (COGIC) church through high school which commenced her spiritual foundation. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the State University of New York College at Buffalo, Rev. Lady Mills married her best friend, Pastor Frederick Mills. The two became one on September 1, 1991, “The Perfect Match!” Continuing in full-time graduate studies, Lady. Mills received her Master’s degree in Higher Education.

In 1992, Rev. Mills walked down the aisle to dedicate her life to the Lord, along with her husband. They together joined the Love Alive Fellowship Baptist Church. At Love Alive, she worshiped the Lord by singing in the choir, singing with the praise team, and dancing with the praise dance ministry.

Lady Mills was united with Love Alive for 10 years before her family was relocated to the Mid-Hudson Valley. The Mills Family then became members of the Beulah Baptist Church in Poughkeepsie in 2001 under the tutelage of Rev. Jesse V. Bottoms. There she served on the C.E.L.L. ministry (connecting everyone in love), domestic violence ministry, praise team, and co-servant leader (with husband) for the marriage ministry.

In December 2006, the Lord called Rev. Frederick Mills to become the shepherd at the Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church, so Min. Mills transitioned to Beacon, New York, along with children: Jade and Jazmin. Min. Mills formerly served at Star as a youth Sunday school teacher, overseer of the Rising Stars Praise Dancers, and member of the adult praise dance team. At present, Lady. Mills is the servant leader for the Hope Circle Mental Health Ministry, a member of the Praise Team, and the Anointed Praise choir.

Rev. Mills accepted the call on her life and launched her preaching ministry with her initial sermon on March 20, 2011. She received a Biblical Studies degree from Louisiana Baptist University in 2017. In addition to ministerial duties, Min. Lady Mills has worked in Higher Education for 15 years and is now a high school School Counselor for the last 17 years. The scripture she lives by is Psalm 37:4, ‘Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart!”
